These bucket hats are hand-crocheted in Lviv by a small group of women working with the traditional technique that has always required human hands. Crochet cannot be mechanized, every stitch is formed individually, slowly building the shape - or deliberate lack of it - of the hat.

The yarn is 100% ecological cotton spun in Portugal. Development of the design took place between Stockholm and Palma and follows the same Bum Society instinct found across the collection - direct, slightly defiant and built to be worn rather than displayed.

Behind the project lies a simple principle: support the people who continue to create, work and live in a place whose culture and beauty deserve to endure. Production is carried out by the Ukrainian company Vbrani and all profit from the hats is directed to the initiative Bring Kids Back UA.

An everyday object carrying the story of craft, resilience and quite solidarity.
